Neil has a broad experience of contentious and non contentious employment matters. He regularly advises both private and public sector employers and also has experience acting for and advising individuals. His experience includes advising on High Court bonus claims, FSA and injunctive matters. Neil also has broad experience advising on TUPE matters, collective redundancies and drafting employment contracts, handbooks and policies. His Tribunal workload covers unfair dismissal, whistleblowing and all aspects of discrimination law.
Neil has written articles for publications such as Personnel Today and is the updating author for Xpert HR's online chapters on the employment aspects of financial services matters. Neil presents seminars and workshops on a regular basis as part of the Employment and Pensions Group annual training programme and has spoken at an external seminar for Xpert HR on the employment aspects of the changes to the FSA Handbook following the introduction of the Markets in Financial Instruments Directive.
Neil is an active member of the City HR Association and has recently contributed to their response to the Government’s consultation on the new ACAS Code of Practice on Discipline and Grievance matters.
