Peter is a partner in the Employment and Pensions Group. He is qualified as a barrister and a solicitor and has significant experience appearing as an advocate at Employment Tribunals, representing both applicant and respondent parties.

Peter advises on the full range of English employment law services including contentious Employment Tribunal, High Court and Appellate court matters relating to unfair dismissal, whistleblowing, unlawful discrimination, redundancy, breach of contract and the enforcement of restrictive covenants.

Additionally, he has recognised expertise in relation to the employment issues arising from projects and commercial and corporate matters, particularly relating to the application of TUPE, collective employment rights as well as employment aspects of private and public outsourcing and acquisition and disposals.

Peter presents seminars and workshops on a regular basis as part of the Employment and Pensions Group annual training programme. Peter has also contributed articles to Business Law Review, People Management, Payroll World, Employment Law Journal, International Legal Practitioner, Legal Week, The Lawyer, Health Service Journal, ACC Docket and The Times
